Welcome! 

Pain Melon is a clothing brand brought to life by its entirely handmade embroideries. Each piece of clothing is unique. I work - sometimes up to 600 hours! - on vintage clothes, such as old overalls, blouses, lab coats, that I usually find at the Paris flea Market. 

Why? Well, firstly, having worked in the fashion industry, I know the tons of waste it makes. I can’t save the world, but I can contribute in my small way by re-using some clothes to give them a second life. And I started my own brand because I wanted to wear clothes with unique patterns. 

Mostly, I draw my inspiration from Japanese pop culture, as a reminder of a lot of people’s childhood memories. But, as you can see here, I also tend to illustrate strong, fierce, independent women. 

To me, planning what I will work on with a customer is a little bit like a tattoo artist’s approach. Let’s talk about it, let’s find the exact pattern that will make your heart melt. And since each item is unique, once it’s yours, it will never be done again. Never.

Now you can buy different things mainly found during my travels in Japan, such as cellulo, photographs, serigraphies, film posters, small decorative objetcs or toys, Tshirts... ALL VINTAGE!
